Urban Fly Fishing - Mostly offered as a walking, sight-fishing trip for Common carp, Grass carp, and Smallmouth Buffalo but includes a variety of sight-fishing opportunities for species including Alligator Gar, Tilapia, Koi, Catfish and you never know what else.
Lake Houston - Full of fishing opportunities throughout the year. Mostly targeting Largemouth Bass and my local favorite Spotted Bass but also has some awesome sunfish and catfish on the fly. Really good Whitebass and Crappie run in the Spring (Feb-April). Trips here are offered as Walk/Wade trips up and down the feeder creeks or paddle trips in our Diablo Paddlesport's Amigos to several different areas of the lake depending on which is fishing best.
Lake Conroe - Mostly offered as a paddle trip because of the mucky, stick-covered bottom where we find the most concentration of fish, making it hard to sneak up on Carp specifically. With that being said, there are some hard-sanded wade fishing areas that can be fantastic depending on lake levels. Trips here are mostly sight-fishing with some blind casting streamer fishing for Bowfin also.
Texas Racks and Quacks - A private lake stocked with big Largemouth Bass and huge Bluegill. A great place to catch big fish from the bank or kayaks. Average bass is probably 2.5-3lbs but its not uncommon to catch bass in the 5-6lb range or Bluegill over pound! Also feel free to ask about Lodging, Hog hunting, Duck hunting and Trophy Whitetail hunting(when in season). All trips here need to be scheduled two weeks in advance.
Other local areas are offered depending on the time of year and how the fishing is. Feel free to ask about other local opportunities.
